Window Treatment Patterns
Sewing is almost a lost art. I love it when I inspire others to do-it-yourself. One of these days, when I'm all caught up on sewing projects... yeah, right!... I plan to teach, have some classes here. My dear friend Kimber, wanted to make a window treatment like the one I did here, so I just copied my pattern and sent it to her.
It is FABULOUS !!
I love it!
I am so proud of her!
I'm proud to see my design done so well, too!
I am always here to answer any sewing questions for you, or give any advice that I can. If I have inspired you to take on a sewing project, well that's just a feather in my cap! I'd love to see some photos, too.
I make all of my window treatment patterns... maybe I should start selling them in my etsy shop. What do you think?
You're a peach, Teresa. I love to sew, too. And I also make my own patterns for my aprons and blouses in my etsy shop. Last year, I tried to use a store bought pattern (wicked expensive)to make a blouse and it looked like more work to cut out the pattern pieces than to make a pattern myself!
ReplyDeleteYour upholstery tutorial was terrific. But, I'm still scared!

I know!! And don't you find that store bought patterns have so many un-necessary extra pattern pieces? Simple is better! Always! Wasn't today gorgeous? Hope you enjoyed some sun and sand!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Teresa! I think you could make up ebooks of your designs and sell them!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
