Queen of Pink

I have met the most amazing friends through this
blogging world...
It's our sisterhood, where like minded individuals come
together. Gathering with other women, kindred spirits,
that I feel like I've known my whole life. Friendships that I will
treasure forever.
Many of you know Claudie from Bubbling Over.
To know her is to love her. Well... Claudie came all
the way from Canada to celebrate her birthday in
Saint Augustine, Florida.

And celebrate, we did!!

We had Deborah from Vintage Soul,

Lisa from AKAWEST,

Jeanne of Backyard Neighbor drove from NC,

Julie made the trip from Canada, too.
This hunk of burning love was there waiting for us.

Lunch ~ carribean salad with shrimp ... looks yummy, right?

It was deee-licious!
Pink Flirtini's for everyone!!
Flat Stella had a little too much, got a little crazy. First she
nibbled Julie's ears, sat on Deborah's hat, fell down my shirt,
then she was caught trying to get Mr. Magpie's wallet!!
Stella, Stella, Stella.....

Then we were off to Mrs. Magpie's for the Party!

If you know Mrs. Magpie, then you know that every detail
was attended. And I do mean "every" detail.
Mrs. Magpie made all of this possible. What a
beautiful party. We all wore our pink flower headbands.
Deborah with Becky from Holiday in the Sun.

And the Pinkest of them all....
Claudette.

It was the most wonderful weekend in St. Augustine,
with all of these other lovely blogging ladies.

This pirate ship passed by and we could hear them singing
pirate songs!!

I couldn't leave St. Augustine without riding the carousel.

We had sooo much fun!!
Meeting in person for the first time was such a treat!
Bloggers are the best people... don't you find??

Aye ??
Important note~
I borrowed the best photos from Julie...
try as I might, I just am not a great photographer.
Looking forward to seeing all of the great photos on Julie's
blog when she gets back to Canada.
More to come...

  8. Hi Teresa, I love your post and you did a great job telling our blogging birthday party story. Maybe this will start a trend.

I posted about the party for pink Saturday. I had a hard time limiting my photos. come over.

I am still in Florida and I have to say I am anxious to get home. We have that wedding on Sunday and then home on Monday. I have loved my stay here and especially the party. I am very happy we met. You would have thought we had been friends for years.

    Have a happy weekend.
    Hugs, Jeanne

  10. Teresa, I'm going to try to post to you again. I have no idea what has happened with my previous posts! It's happened on some other blogs, too. I checked back to see if it was here, but it's not.

Anyhow, I enjoyed reading this and seeing the pics. We really did have fun, didn't we? I've been laughing thinking about the guy in the restaurant with the rolling name tag. LOL!

Sending hugs your way. I hope you get this!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

My Grandmother always told me, "If you hang around with skunks, you're gonna get some stink on you."
