Simplicity

This bay window had a beautiful view
to the garden, just outside, so these window treatments
needed to be simple in design.
Nothing too fussy, nothing too busy.

And for the adjoining kitchen...

matching valances.

Sometimes, the simplest designs really are the best choice.
I don't know about you...
but my kitchen never looks that good.
Know what I mean?
One of these days, I'm going to make some window treatments for my own house... really, I am.

  1. I love them. I have been trying to decide on a window treatment for my family room. I plan to use drop cloth fabric and I like the look of yours - - it might have to make my own version. Thanks!

  4. Very nice...sometimes less is more! I enlarged the photos and thought to myself, there must not be any children living/using that kitchen...if only...sigh..

My Grandmother always told me, "If you hang around with skunks, you're gonna get some stink on you."
