I am It!

I'm it...
.
and I'm comin' to get ya!
.
Malisa (she's one of those Moonlight Hollow Muses) tagged me.
Now Malisa says I have to tell you 6 things about myself,
that maybe ya'll didn't know. Now, normally I feel a sense of freedom, here in blog land. I can tell you what I want you to know, and keep my secrets to myself. One might say, I'm guarded... I like to keep you at arms length, that way, I'm safe.
.
But if I don't comply, I think Malisa might come and kick my butt.
So here goes...
.
1. Ya'll alreadyknow my passion for creating. I must create. Be it with paint, or fabric, or flowers. Maybe you don't know my passion for collecting things. Certain things. I love little wooden boxes, especially if they are carved, inlaid, or painted. I'm also a chair-aholic. Especially if it's old.
.
2. I love sushi! Even more than sushi, I love sashimi. I could eat sashimi 5 days a week. For those of you who don't know what sashimi is, it's raw fish. No rice, no filler, just raw fish with maybe a little sauce. YUM! Only salt water fish, mind you... Fish that come out of a pond are gross.
.
3. I don't like chocolate. Yes, I am weird. I do love white chocolate. Love it. Which isn't really chocolate at all.
.
4. Before I decided to start my little home business, doing what I really love, sewing, I wore many occupational hats. My first job (which was a sewing job) was to make the linings that go into caskets. Creepy, I know. I have also been an administrative assistant, waitress, bartender, weight lifting instructor, fork lift operator.... I've held a few other titles, that you don't need to know about. Let's leave it at that, shall we?
.
5. I have yet to meet a man that doesn't piss me off.
.
6. My house is a complete disaster. I love a clean house, but there isn't enough time in the day for me to get it that way. I'm too busy in the garden. Too busy cooking. Too busy keeping my kids happy. Too busy trying to make a dollar.
.
I'll even throw in an extra secret, just for good measure...
.
My paternal grandparents were ... let's say... black sheep.
He was italian, she was Cherokee. He married my grandmother under an alias, as he was on the run, from the law. There are even stories of her driving a get away car and being shot at by the police. Our own "Bonnie and Clyde".
.
More on that later.
.
Now it's your turn!
Show us your skeletons....
.
hmmm?
.
I have to tag 6 of you.
If I don't, Malisa is gonna sic Imogene on me!!
.

When I got your comment that said "Your It!" I said whaaaaaat?

I will get on this and try to think of 6 secrets about myself (that I haven't already blurted out) I am an open book, whatever I am thinking usually just spills out of my mouth! Not always a good thing!

  5. Comment on my blog. The tipsy planter. You drive a still pole in the ground through the hole in the large container, fill with soil, put the next size on the pole through the hole, fill with dirt, so forth and so on. My first one fell over, make sure your pole is strong and pretty far in the ground.

  7. I love, love, love sashimi!! Add a little soy sauce and can't forget the wasbi and I'm in heaven! Actually, I'm hooked on ahi as is, eat it all the time. Would eat sashimi every day if it wasn't so damn expensive! I got tagged too and wasn't going to do it, but then someone else tagged me so I gave in and did my post today. Men. . I don't even get close enough for one to piss me off! You take care, Sue

My Grandmother always told me, "If you hang around with skunks, you're gonna get some stink on you."
