Seldom Seen

I have a son...
really, I do.
Like most teenagers, he's usually in his room, or as we call it...
The Man Cave.
But today, thanks to the orthodontist... I was able to spend the day with my not-so-little-anymore man. We had lunch at Steak 'n Shake. He thought he was in heaven... music from the 50's & 60's playing, neon lights all around... swivel barstools where you could sit at the counter, ...triple steakburger (for him) and real glass ketsup bottles on the table, vanilla shakes, with whipped cream, and cherries on top!

When this pulled up, it was like we really stepped back in time.
We're so busy with everyday life, it seems we never get to just spend the day out together. So it was a really nice day.
And I wanted to show you all, I really do have a son.
See ?

  1. I love Steak & Shake. Do y'all ever go to The Varsity in ATL?

  2. We don't have a Steak and Shake in our neck of the wood, but we do have Man Caves and with three teenage sons we have a few of them.

Thanks for visiting my blog, it's fun to meet new friends.

My Grandmother always told me, "If you hang around with skunks, you're gonna get some stink on you."
