One Eyed Cat and Drunk Fairy

You know Thom...

my crazy cat...

This was him 5 minutes ago...
sleeping real good...
before our giggles disturbed him...

"Hhhmph.... what was that?"

Oh, it's just you.

Zzzzzzzzzzz.....

Now, on to other things...

Me and my big Sis...
earlier today...

My Christmas gift for her was this sunflower painting,

Yes...
I painted it.

She is beautiful, isn't she? About 4 years ago, cancer came calling... She kicked cancer's ass. She's a survivor, she's my big sister, and I love her. I'll stop now, before I get sappy.

On her counter she had this other painting, to the right of us... I gave this one to her years ago, for Christmas as well. I painted this one, too. I had forgotten all about it.

Sorry for the glare, but it reads"Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire".

Makes me want to get out my paintbrushes...

On the little shelf behind us she had another Christmas gift that I had given her. I call her "Drunk Fairy"

No, I didn't paint this one..
but,
A little something to remind her of me...

Drunk Fairy likes to cook with wine, just like me...

and just like me, some of it makes it in the sauce.

Check us out in the last post...

  1. It was so interesting to see you and your sister in the vintage photo and then to see you and your sister today! You are both still as beautiful as when you were children!

PS---Keep your kitty off the eggnog!

I'm glad to see your paintings. Very very nice. I'm sure your big sister holds you close to her heart. I can tell.

  3. Oh I don't think I told you... well maybe I did. We used to live in Dunwoody. Lovely place but very expensive neighborhood. We were there for a year and then off to Wyoming, then Scottsdale and now back home in Canada.
Just thought I would tell you how I loved listening to everyone accents.

My Grandmother always told me, "If you hang around with skunks, you're gonna get some stink on you."
