Courtney's Breakfast Room

More lovely window treatments for my portfolio.
I just love the gorgeous saturated colors in these fabrics. They are perfect against the soft sage green wall color.

For Courtney's breakfast room, I made 3 roman shades in a gorgeous stripe fabric that she had pre-purchased. The board mounted valance above is made from a co-ordinating upholstery weight floral fabric, with a shaped hem. Using a design like this simple valance, (without pleats, or swags and cascades) is a wonderful way to lower the overall costs of custom made window treatments, as the fabric requirement is at a much lower yardage.
This trim on the lower hem of the roman shades is the perfect finishing touch.
